Frequently asked questions
Do I have to be part of a church or a Christian to join?
Not at all! Every mom is welcome to join MomCo, wherever she may be in her faith journey. As an organization and leadership team we are centered on Jesus and invite others to journey with us, but that is not a requirement for MomCo members.
Can I visit a meetup before joining?
Absolutely! You are welcome to visit once to check things out. If after that you’d like to join MomCo, registration is required.
Can I join anytime throughout the year?
Yes, we accept registrations throughout the year. You can find our registration form under "Register" at the top of the page (under the menu if you are on a mobile device).

What does it cost to be a part of MomCo South?
The annual fee is $99, which helps cover international membership, our local group costs, and all the extras that make our time together special — including breakfast, supplies, crafts, special events, and more! If you join during the second half of the year, the fee will be prorated.

Is childcare available for children who homeschool?
We offer childcare for children ages 6 weeks-12 years. Children may bring work to do during KidsCo if they so wish, but please note that no electronic devices are allowed during KidsCo.

Is there childcare available for kids in middle school?
We offer childcare for children ages 6 weeks-12 years. Older children may contact our KidsCo lead if they would like to volunteer to provide childcare to younger children

Can I come if I’m an expectant mom?
Of course! Joining MomCo as an expectant mom is an amazing way of jump-starting friendships with other moms and finding community.

What kinds of topics do you cover at your meetups?
We cover a range of topics each year that range from practical to spiritual. Examples of topics include parenting, marriage, meal planning, prayer, mental health, service, and endurance. We also do panels such as a mentor mom panel and men’s panel where you get to ask your questions and learn from others.
How are table groups assigned?
We assign moms to tables based on the ages of their oldest child so that that moms are connected with other moms in a similar season of life. Mentor moms will be a few seasons ahead of moms at their tables, and of course all moms will get to mingle with each other through the various activities at meetups and special events.

What if I don’t know anyone, can I still come by myself?
Absolutely! Our goal at MomCo is to foster a sense of community and belonging for all moms. This is the perfect place to meet other moms in a safe and welcoming place.
