KidsCo Policies | MomCo South

Thank you for trusting us with your children — we're so excited they're here! Children get to enjoy a safe, clean, and stimulating environment while moms enjoy the company of other mothers.

This season we welcome children ages 6 weeks–12 years in our KidsCo rooms. Younger infants are welcome to stay in the MomCo meeting room with you.

Our childcare workers are background checked, and many of them have been volunteering with us for many years! There are at least two adults per KidsCo room.

Wellness Policy

If you or your child has any of the following symptoms within 24 hours of a meeting, please stay home and get well:

Temperature of 100 degrees or higher
Vomiting or diarrhea
Runny nose with mucus that is not clear
Exposure to a contagious condition such as Covid, chicken pox, measles, pink eye, or strep throat
Rash
Cough

If your child develops any of the symptoms listed above, we will come get you. KidsCo workers are not allowed to give children any medication — all medications must be kept and administered by the parent/guardian.

If your child has been exposed to a communicable disease, please advise our KidsCo Team Lead as soon as possible so other parents can be alerted to watch for symptoms.

Electronic Device Policy

To ensure the safety, privacy, and well-being of all children in our care, the use of personal cell phones and other devices such as iPads and tablets by children while participating in KidsCo activities is prohibited. This policy aims to:

Protect the privacy of all children by preventing unauthorized photography or video recording.
Maintain a focused and engaging environment free from digital distractions.
Enable teachers to effectively supervise and support all children without the added challenge of monitoring personal device usage.

We understand that special circumstances may arise. If your child requires access to a personal device for medical communication or other essential reasons, please discuss this with our KidsCo Team Lead ahead of the meeting.

Tips to Remember

When you arrive, you'll get one nametag for your child and one for yourself. Place the sticker onto the back of your child's shirt (not their belongings).
A small snack will be provided (kids with allergies are encouraged to bring their own), but be sure to feed your children breakfast before coming to KidsCo.
Label ALL belongings with your child's first and last name prior to the meeting. Tape and a Sharpie will be provided for this purpose. Please leave personal toys at home or with mom.
Be sure to send your child with a labeled water bottle — water only, please!
Childcare workers are aware of any allergies and special needs reported on your registration form, but please make them aware if anything new arises.
KidsCo workers are well equipped to handle issues that may arise from separation anxiety, meltdowns, etc. However, if a child just isn't settling down, they'll send a text to our in-meeting contact, who will let you know to come check in.
